Safari Silanka Yala was founded with one purpose: to give every visitor an authentic, unforgettable encounter with Sri Lanka’s extraordinary wildlife. where you we are here, we are the heartbeat of the south’s safari scene.
We ensure your jeep enters the park at dawn among the first vehicles, the best time for wildlife activity. This increases leopard sightings, better visibility, and a more peaceful, uninterrupted safari experience.
All safaris are led by Department of Wildlife Conservation certified guides trained in animal behaviour, tracking, and photography. Their deep local knowledge ensures a safe, informative, and high-quality wildlife experience.
Enjoy complimentary hotel pickup and drop-off from nearby areas with zero hidden charges. Your package includes jeep, guide, taxes, and park fee, clear pricing with no surprises.
Choose private or shared safari options to match your budget and style. We also support conservation by planting trees and following ethical wildlife practices to protect nature.

We chose this company because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed. We had Bole as our guide, an expert spotter and didn't mess around getting to the location of the leopard sighting in time to catch a quick glimpse! We have done other Safari's so really appreciated his good driving, amazing eye and friendly nature.
From quick answers to in-depth guidance, weβre committed to making sure you feel confident
Yala Block 1 is the most popular and has the highest leopard density in the world. For a quieter, more exclusive experience, we also offer safaris in Block 5 (Weheragala) and Block 6 (Lunugamwehera), which share the same ecosystem but attract far fewer visitors. We can advise based on your priorities.
The best season is February to July when water levels are low, animals gather around remaining waterholes, and sightings peak. Yala Block 1 may close briefly in September for maintenance, but we operate year-round and can redirect safaris to Block 5 or alternative parks during this period.
Park entrance fees are included in all our packages. Please note that entrance fees are paid in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) only, foreign currency is not accepted at the park gate. We advise guests to carry local currency, which we can help arrange on arrival. All government taxes and service fees are included in our quoted prices.
Each of our modified Toyota Hilux open jeeps comfortably seats up to 6 passengers plus the guide/driver. All seats are elevated for excellent sightlines. For the most personal experience, we recommend booking private, your group exclusively in one jeep means you control the pace, stops, and photography time.
Yes! We offer complimentary pickup and drop from all hotels in Tissamaharama, Kataragama, Kirinda, Weerawila, Yodakandiya, and surrounding areas.
