Bundala National Park

A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve on the southern coast, Bundala is a birdwatcher’s paradise and a peaceful alternative to busy Yala. Its coastal lagoons, salt pans and scrub jungle attract thousands of migratory birds between September and March, including greater flamingos, painted storks and pelicans.
